About Me

My photo
MB HILL
Taos, New Mexico
I've been on my painting journey for many years. Like many before me it is how I landed in Taos eight years ago. Somehow painters are blessed with the ability to "see" differently - my oil landscapes focus mainly on the often overlooked scenes on an ordinary day as we go about our busy lives. With a "less is more" approach I try to capture a particular moment in time, inviting the viewer into this special place that inspired me to begin with. Painting is my passion and each brush stroke I make is another step along the journey that has brought me to this point. "To affect the quality of the day - that is the ART of life" and for that I am most grateful. Hope you enjoy my paintings.
